A beautiful place for a light rest

We had a beautiful lunch today.
There was 3 of us in our party, each ordered something different, the food was outstanding, all clearly cooked fresh to order. Large portions well presented and oh so tasty.
Thoroughly recommended, and the menu is always being updated with specials too.

My friend and I took our dogs for a walk and ended up at the railway and had lunch. They are dog friendly and lunch was lovely.

This week I had lunch at The Railway. Food was great (I had the Cajun chicken salad). The chicken was goujons which were a lot easier to handle politely compared with chicken on the bone. The salad was a standard type of mixed leaf salad with a pot of mayo. The fries had their skins on which went well with the chicken.
Being a trainiac, I was pleased that the railway was in sight through the window which rounded off a lovely lunch ( so did the crumble & custard 😳).

Beautiful venue. We had dinner and stayed in the bed and breakfast. Recently decorated rooms with everything you needed in them and more. Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hot drinks and cereal porridge and fruit. You won’t be disappointed
